Aeyth is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves interpreting data and turning it into information which can offer ways to improve our business, thus affecting business decisions. The Data Analyst will gather information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends – a critical role that will directly impact the success and growth of Aeyth.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and perform statistical analysis on large datasets.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Work alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs.
- Define new data collection and analysis processes.
- Develop reports and presentations to effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Utilize automation and learning models to enhance the efficiency of data retrieval and analysis processes.
- Evaluate and preprocess raw information, and conduct comparative analyses.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing quality control measures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in data mining, database management, and using database software.
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, or similar.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
- Adept at report writing and presenting findings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
- Experience in data warehousing and business intelligence platforms.
